Reflection about Cakap Class (Part 3)

Reflection 1 by Martha Camelia De Lellis Putri Jogo

After approximately 24 meetings for the CAKAP class, I got a lot of benefits. The material taught are so interesting and easy to understand. The teacher, Miss Aulia, is also very kind and patient in teaching. With CAKAP class, I am increasingly brave enough to speak English in my daily life. it also helped me in taking language tests, especially the TOEFL test.

I am really grateful to CAKAP for teaching various kinds of material that I did not understand.

Reflection 2 by Maria Viona Ngura

My name is Maria Viona Ngura Wasa and I am a student who had the privilege of joining the CAKAP Class.

Joining this class is an excellent opportunity, and not everyone can experience it. I am grateful that I was able to be one of the few students at the school who participated in this activity. CAKAP Class is an important step to me in improving my English skills. I am very excited to learn new materials and improve my skills, especially in speaking, listening, and writing.

Throughout the course, I have learned a variety of new topics, including advanced grammar, vocabulary, and conversation skills. One of the most memorable lessons was about how to express, use, and know what vocabulary can and cannot be used, how to write rules, and many more. This not only enriched my vocabulary but also helped me understand the nuances of everyday English. Initially, I found the listening exercises quite challenging, but with practice and guidance from our instructors, I was able to improve my skills significantly.

My speaking skills have improved in particular. For example, participating in class discussions has made me more confident in expressing my thoughts in English. My listening skills are also much better than before. This class has not only improved my language skills but also boosted my confidence. I feel more motivated to use English in my daily life and no longer hesitate to engage in conversations with native speakers.

Going forward, I plan to continue practicing English by reading more books, watching stories in English, watching English movies, and engaging in conversations with native speakers. My goal is to achieve fluency and be able to use English easily in academic and professional settings.

Overall, my experience in CAKAP Class has been very rewarding. I have gained valuable skills, grown more confident, and set clear goals for my further learning. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this class and look forward to further improving my English skills.

Reflection 3 by Maria J. Putri Jade

This was my first time joining an English learning class, at first I was quite insecure because I knew that other friends who were good at English also joined this class. After the first meeting of CAKAP class, I felt more confident, because it turned out that my English skills were quite good, and Ms. Aulia explained the CAKAP material in a cool and fun way. At the end of the class, we did a test and it turned out that I could answer the questions well. I am grateful to be chosen to take this CAKAP class, because taking this English class is a new experience to me. Thank you CAKAP, Ms. Aulia, Br. Kris, and Mom Angel.*
